A Cone & Plate (C&P) viscometer (TA AR550) and a Concentric Cylinders viscometer are available for the measurement of the viscosity of non-Newtonian fluids. The first one was particluarly useful in the measurement of the viscosity of nanofluids where the addition of nanoparticles changed the fluid behaviour to a Bingham plastic one. |
