In order to reduce the emissions of gases, the solvents can be replaced, when it is possible, by subtances that do not contain volatile organic components. This has as a result the reduction of the emission of organic substances.

The same result can be achieved with the installation of special equipment in the ventilation system, in order to recover the volatile organic components. The solvents that are collected using condensers, adsorption systems of active carbon and compressors, can be recycled in the production process.

For the reduction of the dust, the raw material used must be in the form of paste. Due to the humidity, the use of pastes reduce the dust that escapes at the opening of the packages, whereas raw materials in paste form are packed in recyclabe barrels. In addition, the installation of a dust collector in the ventillation system lead to the reduction of the dust emissions to the atmosphere.
